Attorney at Law and Legal Counsel for B&L Jonel Powell is denying the suggestion that there is a conflict of interest in the recent Concessionary Agreement for the development of the Vance Amory Airport.Powell and the company were heavily criticized since the contract was inked on Wednesday.
He clarified his position with the company on Freedom Radio Friday (February 8).“I have no interest in B&LWorldwide other than being the legal counsel for that company. I am as it stands what you call a Nominee Director, my company incorporated that company, the principles involved are non-nationals. This concession agreement and other auxiliary agreements deal with their appointment as directors and shareholders as non-nationals.
