Over 200 young persons from St. Kitts and Nevis had the opportunity to gain a lesson on fiscal responsibility from the Minister of Human Settlement the Honourable Eugene Hamilton, at the National Consultation on Youth Forum that took place on February 14 at the Royal St. Kitts Hotel.Minister Hamilton while responding to a question from the youth about housing, encouraged the youth to employ the practice.
“People have choices and if you make the right choices, most of what you plan for your life, if not all, can be achieved,” he said, urging the youths to spend their money wisely. He also explained that when savings are put aside to purchase a home, it opens different avenues for home ownership.
