Hundreds of seniors converged at Government House in Basseterre on Saturday February 16 where they were treated to a luncheon as part of the Team Unity Government’s Fourth Anniversary celebrations. The seniors were delighted by being served by, among others, Prime Minister Dr the Hon Timothy Harris. “We have come today out of love – love for you,” said Prime Minister Harris. “Love for your service, and we have come as a government to say ‘thank you’ for the many ways.
The luncheon was held on the second National Volunteer Day, Dr Harris noted, for the government to thank them for what they have done in the past and what they continue to do as role models and as exemplars by sending and passing on the values of industry and pride in themselves to the younger generation.
