Minister of Health, Eugene Hamilton says that more will be done in 2019 to deal with the growing problem of roadside vending in Basseterre.Over the last several years, more vendors have popped up along the sidewalks, forcing pedestrians to walk or navigate through traffic.
He indicated that they are currently monitoring the situation with the aim of coming up with alternatives.Minister Hamilton pointed out that three new locations are under consideration for vending.“It has been the plan of the government and we have discussed it, of finding alternatives for persons to ply their trade.
