Parliamentary Representative for Constituency Eight, the Honourable Eugene Hamilton, while speaking at the Government’s Community Consultation on March 12 at the Cayon Community Center said that there are significant allocations for community projects in Constituency Eight in the 2019 Budget.“As we speak, the Budget for 2019 has captured a project at the Saint Mary’s Park where we intend to spend another EC$ 3.1 million dollars overtime, beginning this year to put in the bleachers,” who then outlined that this will allow persons to have bleachers to sit in for the upcoming sports days.
He added that there are lots being prepared for sale through the National Housing Corporation (NHC) in the Holland Ghaut, Cayon, so that persons who are still searching for land will have an opportunity to acquire land in that area to build houses.
