St Kitts and Nevis (WINN): Activists in the Federation are advising that the proposed Marijuana Industry expected to blossom after the drug is decriminalized should be developed properly and not based on the wishes of foreign investors.

As WINN FM has been reporting, Billionaire Alki David wants to work with the country’s farmers to grow hemp that can be used to produce medical marijuana products.

David’s arrival has been controversial, and he is currently before the courts.

Activist Dr Patrick Martin says the cannabis industry for St. Kitts and Nevis is bigger than Alki David, and that he is at the moment just a potential investor.
