In an attempt to assist at-risk groups in communities throughout St. Kitts and Nevis, the Ministry of National Security has embarked on an initiative to engage the necessary groupings in the Federation. Retired Major General Stewart Saunders, National Security Adviser in St. Kitts and Nevis, appeared on “Working for You” on July 10 and updated the public on the results of the initiative to date. The initiative commenced on March 13, 2019.
“Communities previously traumatized by gangs and gang induced violence have been living in peace and harmony. Persons have since experienced freedom of movement within and across the communities and the larger public spaces that were literally forbidden before we started this intervention.
