Three ministers of Government, including Prime Minister Dr. the Honourable Timothy Harris, laid the audited financial reports for three Statutory Bodies before the National Assembly at its most recent sitting on Thursday, November 28, 2019, in keeping with the Team Unity administration’s good governance agenda.Prime Minister Harris, who is also the Minister of Finance, laid on the table of the Parliament the audited financial statements of the Development Bank of St. Kitts and Nevis.
The auditor was quoted in that report, dated March 29, 2019, as saying, “In our opinion, the accompanying financial statements present fairly, in all material respects, the financial position of the bank as at December 31, 2017, and its financial performance and its statement of cash flows for the year then ended in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).”
