HEALTH officials in the Federation are making significant strides in combatting and treating patients with the deadly COVID-19 virus.
That is as the latest numbers show that in addition to the four previously announced, two more persons have recovered and released from a government quarantine facility.The announcement of the release was made by Chief Medical Officer Dr. Hazel Laws yesterday (Apr. 29) at one of the daily media briefs to update the nation on COVID-19.

“To date, 293 persons have been sampled and tested with 15 confirmed positive, 271 confirmed negative and seven results pending…six confirmed cases have recovered,” Dr. Laws said.The number of recoveries increased by two from the last figure released by health officials last week.
