FOLLOWING a seven-month hiatus due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the St. Kitts-Nevis Football Association’s Premier League is set to resume this weekend.
According to the SKNFA, matches in the Premier League are scheduled to kick-off on Saturday (Sept. 26) amidst a number of protocols.In a statement, the local football governing body unveiled a set of COVID-19 safety protocols for the return of the sport.
Chief among the new measures are temperature checks, mask-wearing, physical distancing and hand sanitising. The body noted that all persons attending SKNFA League matches could expect to have their temperature checked and their contact information collected for contact tracing, if necessary; while mask-wearing would be a strict requirement for everyone in the stadium, with exceptions for players and match officials on the field.
